Lifting Children
to Their Potential

The Roy Mubiru Foundation was born from a simple belief: every child deserves a chance to thrive. In Gayaza‑Manyangwa, Uganda, we built a home and therapy center for children with autism – a place where they receive education, occupational therapy, and unconditional love.

Many of these children had been abandoned or neglected due to lack of awareness and resources. Today, they smile, they learn, and they dream. Roy personally funds and oversees the center, ensuring that every child feels seen and valued.

A Dream for 7,000 Children

Roy’s vision is audacious: to expand the foundation to support 7,000 children with special needs across Uganda. He believes that every child, regardless of their challenges, can contribute to society – especially through sports.

His ultimate goal is to train and prepare these children for the Special Olympics, proving that ability comes in many forms and that Uganda can lead Africa in inclusive sports.
